Jenna and I met eight years ago. From the very first moment, I knew that she was special. We met in the summer when we were luckily in the same town for one week. We were beaming with excitement during our first conversation. Our first date turned into a whole weekend. We lived in separate cities across the country from each other. We knew we didn’t want to be in a long distance relationship, but that didn’t stop us from falling in love. We knew that we were young and had our own growing up to do, so we remained friends and we each hoped that some day it would work out. Throughout the years, we would message each other here and there and have the occasional long phone call. It wouldn’t be until four years later when we really, finally, reconnected. Ever since then we’ve been inseparable. Now, after all this time and growth, we look together onward at our shared future, beaming with excitement over all the possibilities.
